Norris Production Solutions Acquires SPIRIT Global Energy Solutions

Acquisition Expands NPS' Automation Technology in Artificial Lift

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Norris Production Solutions ("NPS"), an operating unit within the Energy segment of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV), announced today that it has acquired SPIRIT Global Energy Solutions® ("SPIRIT"), based in Midland, Texas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

SPIRIT delivers innovative artificial lift tools and technology to oil and gas producers around the globe. The company develops production optimization solutions for rod-pumped wells and offers industry-leading training in rod pumping and pump-off control technology.
