CONYERS, Ga., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) today announced that Hill PHOENIX, a Dover Company with a leading market position in commercial refrigeration systems and refrigerated display cases, has acquired the assets of National Cooler Corporation, effective September 15, 2000.

National Cooler, located in San Dimas, California, is a manufacturer of walk-in coolers, freezers and cold storage doors, with an excellent reputation for quality products and customer service. National Cooler serves customers in the commercial food industry, primarily supermarkets, convenience stores and others. The acquisition of National Cooler will strengthen Hill PHOENIX's product line and competitive position, particularly on the West Coast.
