Tulsa Winch, A Dover Company, acquires Pullmaster Winch

Jenks, Oklahoma, September 26, 2000. Tulsa Winch, a Dover Resources Company announced today the acquisition of Pullmaster Winch, located in Surrey, B.C., (Vancouver) Canada. Pullmaster is a manufacturer of hydraulic planetary winches ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 pounds linepull. These winches are utilized in broad based applications in markets that include commercial fishing, construction, dredging, logging, drilling and mining, marine and petroleum. Pullmaster is the market share leader in the marine and fishing markets. The company has a world-wide distribution network and serves a broad range of OEM customers.

With the addition of Pullmaster Winch, Dover’s Tulsa Winch Group, which currently consists of Tulsa Winch, DP Winch and Greer Company, truly becomes a world class provider of winch systems and electronic load information systems. This acquisition brings together, in Dover, three of the finest names in the winch industry. The markets and customers of Pullmaster Winch are additive to the offerings of both Tulsa Winch and Dp Winch. Each of these companies has unique strengths that do not directly compete for the same opportunities.
