June 20, 2001 – Imaje SA, (Bourg-lès-Valence, France), a Dover Corporation (NYSE:DOV) subsidiary and part of Dover Technologies, announced the acquisition of Markpoint Holding AB, a Swedish designer and manufacturer of marking solutions for packaging industries.

Markpoint Holding AB has its headquarters and main location in Gőteborg (Sweden). Its product range includes large characters ink-jet printers using piezo and valve technologies, label printers, print & apply printers and integrated PC-based marking systems. Markpoint Holding AB also makes its own consumables including inks, ribbons and labels. Markpoint Holding AB has built a strong reputation as a good provider of marking solutions to the European industry and to key accounts within health, entertainment and transportation companies.
