Dover Corporation Increases Dividend For 51st Consecutive Year

NEW YORK, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) today increased its quarterly cash dividend to $.185 (eighteen and one half cents) per share, from the previous $.17 (seventeen cents) per share, an increase of 8.8%. This is the 51st consecutive year in which Dover has paid an increased cash dividend, giving it the fourth longest record of consecutive annual dividend increases of all listed companies, as reported by Mergent's Dividend Achievers.

This increased dividend will be paid on September 15, 2006 to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2006.
