NEW YORK, Aug 06, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- The Board of Directors of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) today increased its quarterly cash dividend to $0.26 (twenty-six cents) per share, from the previous $0.25 (twenty-five cents) per share, an increase of 4%. This is the 54th consecutive year in which Dover has paid an increased cash dividend, giving it the fourth longest record of consecutive annual dividend increases of all listed companies, as reported by Mergent's Dividend Achievers.

This increased dividend will be paid on September 15, 2009 to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2009.
