Dover Corporation Increases Dividend by 11%

DOVER CORPORATION INCREASES DIVIDEND BY 11%

Downers Grove, IL, August 2, 2012 - The Board of Directors of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) today increased its quarterly cash dividend to $0.35 (thirty-five cents) per share, from the previous $0.315 (thirty-one and one half cents) per share, an increase of 11%.  This is the 57th consecutive year in which Dover has paid an increased cash dividend, giving it the fourth longest record of consecutive annual dividend increases of all listed companies, as reported by Mergent's Dividend Achievers.

This increased dividend will be paid on September 15, 2012 to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2012.
